Alma 26: 12

Yea I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.

This is what Ammon the missionary says to Aaron, after he accuses Ammon of being too joyfull and of boasting. But anyway, I just found this verse very meaningful to me. I know that with the Lord we really can do all things as long as we are keeping the commandments and are trying our best to be like Christ. I know that we can perform miracles as long as we are intuned with the spirit and are fullfilling the covenants which we have made to our Father in Heaven. I know that I am a child of God and that he loves me and knows everything about me. I know that he loves everyone in the world just as much. I know that this book is true, and that Heavenly Father through Joseph Smith, Oliver Cowdery, and Martin Harris translated the Book of Mormon. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that he will come again at the Second Coming. I am thankful for a true prophet and apostles who lead God's church in these Latter Days. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

  1. One of the neat things about The Book of Mormon is how it inspires us with its message - just like that verse strengthened your testimony that with the Lord's help we can do anything. I appreciate your testimony of that principle.
