One Week Into the Challenge

It's been one week since the challenge to read two pages a day in the Book of Mormon. I heard from many of you at church that you were doing it and it was making a difference. By now we should be on page 18 and about to begin chapter 11. I encourage you young men and young women to ponder what you are reading and share your ideas on this blog. (Some of you mentioned you were having trouble figuring out how to publish a post on the blog - I explained it a little more clearly in a post I put on the blog yesterday). Even if you don't have a thought to share on a specific scripture, don't hesitate to write a few lines about how your life has been blessed by reading daily.

I was impressed as I was reading this past week by 1Nephi 1:5 where Lehi "prayed unto the Lord, yea, even with all his heart..." It made me think about what it means to pray with all our hearts. I came to the conclusion that it's much more than saying the same thing night after night. It means to really think about what we are saying in prayer and truly feeling it deep inside our souls. It inspired me to to work on making my prayers more meaningful.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to post on this blog. I'd love for you to add your thoughts each week or more.
